The staff at Blackbird Framing has extensive experience in the
framing industry. As the owner, I am a graduate of Parsons School
of Design, and have spent over 20 years in framing.

Over the years, technology has greatly improved our business.
Many superior materials have been developed to help framers
better protect artwork. We have embraced all these
developments including computerized mat cutting, which infinitely
expands our creative design options. We are proud members of
the Professional Picture Framers Association and continue to
broaden our skills through the PPFA's educational programs.

Many years ago I began studying French matting and have passed
these skills on to the staff at Blackbird. Few framing professionals
practice this intricate art and we have made it our specialty.
A portion of our business is national, providing French matting
services to many other framers.

At Blackbird Framing, we are constantly creating. Some of our new
products include hand painted and gilded frames and fabric photo folios.
We also carry a selection of decorative accessories for the home.
